It seemed that no response was going to be made to her protest--experimentally, Fuu reached forward and immediately came into contact with the forcefield. She withdrew her hand sharply, not wanting to invite any unexpected side-effects.
For a moment, she contemplated calling on Windam, but she quickly decided against it. Unless the situation actually became dangerous, it seemed a bit trivial. She was reluctant to reveal him to a stranger, too. Taking a deep breath, she turned to see who her 'date' was.
