Boredom in Hydroponics

Work, work, work. It was always work with Hank who could not stop for just a minute to take his mind off his lab creatures. Some boyfriend he was. Janet rolled her eyes for the umpteen time in the apartment they shared and flew out of the door, her wings taking her aimlessly through the ship. 

She managed to stumble into Hydroponics, again. The quiet surroundings may have calmed her mind but she was now very bored. "Argh, I'm so bored!" Janet exclaimed as she grew back to her normal size, swiping a flower along the way to look at the petals, hoping that the floral detail would catch her eye.


((OOC: Jan shrinks to about  10cm (4") in her wasp form and is 163cm (5'4") when she's in her normal human size.)

Jan's jaw dropped open and she immediately flew down to check on the kid. "I'm sorry! Are you alright?"

"What? Yeah, I'm fine. I leap off of buildings on a regular basis. I just don't appreciate being surprised into doing it." He said, dusting himself off and making sure the camera hadn't be harmed.

"And I wasn't taking pictures of you, by the way. I was taking pictures of-" Peter started to gesture to a spot where a family group of deer-analogues had been, but they were conspicuously absent. "Great, we spooked 'em off."

"What?! You leap off buildings regularly? Are you suicidal?!" Janet exclaimed as she flew in front of his face to look at him weirdly.

She looked around for any signs of animals. "Can I help you find them? I ought to make it up to you for scaring them."

"While that would explain why I attack supervillains and then proceed to make matter worse for myself by calling them names...nah. Peter Parker, otherwise known as your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. One of my powers is super-jumping."

"And they'll probably be skittish for a while. I don't wanna freak them out anymore than we have already."

"Spider-Man eh? You're a superhero too? That's so cool! My superhero name is Wasp." Janet replied as she extended her hand out for a handshake.

((OOC: I know they're both from the Marvel universe but I don't think she may have heard of him yet... =P))

"Always happy to meet another arthropod-powered hero." Peter said, shaking her hand.

"My boyfriend is known as Ant Man. He shrinks just like me." Janet looked around to help keep an eye out for the elusive animals he had been taking pictures of.

"These animals you were watching, do they like fruit?"
