Hey, it could be worse. He could be stranded here with someone who doesn't appreciate sarcasm. Although knowing Diana and that discerning, sneaky little mind of hers, she's probably already pieced together that Howard's in an exceptionally foul mood even for this ugly situation.
It also doesn't help that the sun is making mirages of water in the distance. Not even a little.
