It's a horrifying feeling all around. Cedric swears he can feel his heart drop when it breaks through. It will kill them. They have no weapons. Just an omnicom, but it's not heavy enough to do real damage when thrown.

Cedric considers going for the hole, but there's no real path for him to get there. He meets the creature's eyes, vaguely notes the locations of Diana and Howard, and suddenly becomes aware of one thing.

He's dead.

The life-preserving instinct still kicks him, prompting him to desperately dodge to the side, but he still yells one word as his life appears to be rapidly reaching a close.

"Go!"
