The guards were left no time to wonder. They burst into action, scooping up Daniel's body from the floor and dragging him supported between them as they followed their God out of the room.

They were halfway to the chamber with the sarcophagus when the first of the fleet malfunctioned. Even from the limited view of the stone windows, it was becoming clear that something was wrong. The sky began to darken. One ship suddenly vanished into the Time Vortex, the rest left behind in this time and space, falling to earth with a great crash. The ground quaked. The chanting outside turned to screams of terror and disbelief.

The Jaffa were nearly thrown off balance from the nearby impact, almost dropping the slave in their surprise. They turned as one, the only thing staying their panic was their belief in the System Lord. They looked desperately then towards the God for answers, for direction. What was happening? They didn't know their Lord's Will or its depths, but even they knew that this wasn't meant to happen! What was going on and how would their Lord stop it? He must! He was a God.
