TIME SKIP - After a week of travelling the planet doing much the same D:

The days passed and Sobek didn't relent in his 'cleansing Kalimba of the blasphemers' blood lines'. It was nothing short of horrific, at times inducing flashbacks of her own time as a Goa'uld. Memories she'd suppressed for a reason. If he was teaching them anything it was that he was a vengeful and bloody God.

Vala had tried to distract him on one occasion, tempt him into staying on the Al'kesh and leaving his revenge behind in pursuit of other pleasures, only for him to view her advances as if he was humouring a puppy briefly before he rebuffed her completely.

She'd thought that was what he wanted her for, she couldn't think of another reason he'd want her by his side, not after he'd clearly refused her offer when they'd first arrived and then kept her locked up and near starved to death. It was the only tool she had aswell, and she wasn't averse to using it in the sudden panic of the moment when she'd realised there were yet more to be slaughtered.

Vala felt like she was achieving nothing more than getting herself fed better, and with that came its own set of guilt issues. He'd said she could have a weapon when he wasn't with her, but so far she hadn't been out of his sight.

The Al'kesh set down in the main Courtyard and she couldn't help feel relief that the ordeal was finally over. Although what was next was anybody's guess. All Vala had achieved was that she was healthier physically and had acquired a change of clothes. Her eyes shot to the tiny windows of the cells wondering if any of the others would be able to see what could only look like a betrayal.
