It's so typical, for her to feel her body reacting without any volition from her mind. She's sweating. Her breathing is ragged. Her mouth is dry. All these stupid little things she has no control over. Not that it'll matter in thirty seconds.
"Aren't you going to put me in there first?" she asks. Her voice sounds foreign, far away, hoarse and textured in strange ways. "Wouldn't do for a god to sit in a half-blind host."
It's desperate. Pathetic, even. What is she supposed to do?
