The kraken and the sea serpent stares at each other for a moment.
Finally, the kraken lifted one tentacle and lightly whapped the sea serpent.
Blinking, the sea serpent turned slightly, then smacked the kraken with a fin in turn.
They went back to staring at each other.
"This sucks," Zetta muttered.
