If anything, Daniel sank further into the humiliation and an inkling of betrayal. Vala was actually looking him up and down. Admiringly. It was bad enough the System Lord paraded him around like a new suit, but Vala taking the opportunity to indulge herself was too much. He might not be in control of his limbs, or even, anything at all, but he could still feel her eyes gliding all over him.

He let his hand glide to a hip and slide down his thigh, where it hung at a safe distance as he drew close to her. Sobek swelled with pride and satisfaction, this time letting the divide between their emotions stand, relishing his host trying to huddle away. He'd continued to assert his dominance with his own vessel, proving once again who was in control and where Daniel stood. Vala seemed to stare at him, almost hypnotized. It was only fitting for how one reacted to a deity.

Sobek circled the prisoner, all weight and deadly power singing through his limbs. Every day brought new strength to the God, helped him heal the spinal injury that much more. Given a few more weeks and he’d heal completely. He took her in at every angle, eyes exposing her just as much as she had. Perfect.

He came to a stop in front of her and looked down into her eyes, unblinking. The System Lord searched her eyes as Daniel had back in his hotel room. His eyes flitted down and away from her, considering something, then returned. The smile faded.
