When the called crew members were assembled at the Observation Deck, they would find the usual mission information displayed on the screen.

It was a nice, fluffy planet with a nice, fluffy name. Bound to be as nice as Happy Happy Fun World, right?

"It seems we've been volunteered," Lupin said mildly as he pocketed his wand, then moved to follow. "Unless we plan on leaving this town to its fate?"

Clef didn't really have a problem with this. Sure, let's get magical girl powers and save the city!

"Can we wear trousers?" he asked hopefully, following the others. Clef had learned not to expect much from missions, but he was about to be disappointed nonetheless.

Shoutarou stared for several moments, then sighed, adjusting his hat as he fell in step with Lupin. "These guys seem pretty nasty. Can't let this place get run over, even if they're used to attacks."

"We're going to get the chains, silly!" Rainbow told them, bouncing into her hospital room as best she could while sick. "I've gotta round up the necklaces from the other girls, hold on---"

She scampered away, and as soon as the door was closed, the voices of more small girls sounded in the hallway. They started calmly at first, escalating into a rather nasty argument after a minute or so. There were many tears, and then another child came into the room, carrying a box. This girl was wearing a trench coat, large shades, and a hat.

"I apologize for keeping you all waiting. We don't have time to waste. I'm Agent Daydreamer, and I've brought your necklaces in Rainbow's place. She was so frustrated by us that she ran off. Kids," the other child shook her head.

She opened the box in her hand, revealing nine glowing necklaces, each with a unique gem set in the center. "The chains should be large enough for all of your heads. Go on, put them on!'

Starfire bit her lip as the fight went on through the door. Was Rainbow okay? It wasn't helpful for sick children to be so stressed.

Her frown grew as Agent Daydreamer explained, but she managed to get back into the swing of business when she saw the necklaces. She studied one's gem before dropping it over her head, wondering about the odd light-headed sensation that came over her.

"It feels new."

Zouichi looked at the box a little skeptically. "Will she be all right?"

And did he really have to wear one of those things?

"Is she alright?" Clef asked.

This looked suspicious. He didn't want to dither too much when time was clearly of the essence, but Agent Daydreamer's story didn't quite make sense and the whole shady outfit was not helping. To top it off, no one had yet confirmed that what they were about to do would involve pants! There were numerous red flags present.

As much as he was sick of being a mere pawn in other people's bizarre transvestite machinations, he again felt as though he had no choice right now. Mentally shrugging, he slipped the chain over his head and immediately questioned the wisdom of that action as he felt strangely lightheaded. Had this really been a good idea?

Setting aside his many doubts and reservations, Lupin took one of the necklaces and donned it. "We can't afford to delay. This may not be the only way, but it is the only one we know of, and we can't gamble with the lives of others on being able to find a different one."

Oh god, the last time he'd brought home something sparkly it possessed him.

"Please don't let this be a trend." Doc muttered to himself, picking up a green colored pendant and slipping the chain over his head.

"Rainbow is fine," Daydreamer promised a little too quickly, "though I think one of your group ran back there to take care of her. The green-haired girl. Said she was going to stay there with the girls. We've had trouble finding someone to care for them, so that's great."

Daydreamer smiled a little, as though she really was daydreaming.

"Anyway! We can't delay. Come on, you're going to transform," she urged, the smile spreading even wider.

"You can't be serious."

They were deadly serious.

Alastirra had been rather taken aback by it all. Better to watch and listen.

But helping little human girls? Something she could get behind, wholeheartedly at that.

"I am not sure I understand this," the Draenei said, even as she accepted one of the necklaces and donned it. "Transform? Transform how?"

Oh, was she going to find out...

Shoutarou reached out, grabbing the rainbow one - who knows, maybe it worked like Xtreme. Maybe. Probably not, but it couldn't hurt to hope. He pulled the necklace on. "It's no Rider Belt, but it should get the job done..."
