Imagine my dissapointment. Azula remarked dryly and then took hold of her mouth once more, "Or perhaps he won't respond to my voice asking so kindly." She took a deep breath and roared "AVATAR SHOW YOURSELF NOW AND LET US BE DONE WITH THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!"

Her voice echoed distorting into frightening sounds but no movement or sounds of response came back to them. Azula sighed. "Figures, the one time I actually want to see him that doesn't involve capturing or killing him."

Ah there was a pleasant memory, one of so few, the feeling of triumph watching her lightning burn through his young body before he could reach the Avatar state. That had been such a good day for her.
