The theme park world had been kind to Kriem.
Between the games, the overpriced souvenir shops she had collected an impressive amount of plush toys and those same toys were now providing her with entertainment as she poured herself a drink.
Plush bears, cats, dogs, rabbits, and even monsters were wrestling and bouncing around, dancing and bouncing off one another.
"Such silly things." She mused as one of the bears poured her some wine.
"My babies." she accepted the wine and sipped it life was good.
...but not perfect. She had been so bored wandering around the ship exploring, so today she was reliving one of her favorite memories.
Mister Jake, a massive muscular blond haired man was giving a man in full armor the pounding of a life time, bright flashes of light and bursts of energy knocking the helpless hero around a massive abandoned stadium.
"Beautiful."

"What the hell!?" A voice came from a row of seats a few behind Kriem.

Terry might also notice the cameras hovering about and in places on the field. They were relaying the image up to the jumbo screen high in the air, and possibly elsewhere.

"What is this?" There was a noticeable shift in his voice from his first question. His voice got a little deeper, a little more menacing.
no subject
"And who are you exactly?"
no subject
He looked at her, his mouth twisting into a scowl. "Batman," he growled.

As if someone had hit the pause button the fight stopped mid punch.
"Does it bother you to see revolution in the making? Are you going to get angry without even asking why they're fighting? That seems childish." Said the girl surrounded by dancing plush toys.
no subject
"Revolution's slaggin' peachy," he snapped. "What I don't like is seeing someone being beat to near death."

Sipping her drink calmly she looked back, "But if your worried the man there didn't die." There was an ominous shine reflected in her lenses, "I did, but he was fine."
no subject
"Oh? You're one of the people that Stacy snatched up and brought back to life?" She could have meant it figuratively, but around here, the literal interpretation was more likely to be correct.

Every whack of the simulated fist against his simulated face made Kotetsu cringe a bit, even as he watched from the doorway. He didn't really want to bother Kriem if she didn't want to see him, the man who had a hand in killing Jake, but... they were crewmates now, right? That meant they should try to get along.
Or not, he added mentally, as he turned away from the digital Jake punching the digital Kotetsu in the face.
"Oi... can we watch something else for a while?" he called out. "I hate this part."
no subject
"You look very tense, perhaps you'd like a drink Broodman?"

Slowly every plush doll stopped what they were doing and turned to fix their cold dead eyes on him
Even the Wild Tiger and Jake on the field stopped and gave Kotetsu a very flat, dry look.
"When did you get here?" She hissed leaning forward in her seat suddenly filled with a mix of anger, fear...and excitement?
no subject
"No," was really all he had to say to the offer. Not only was he not a big drinker, but he certainly didn't want to share anything with this woman.
no subject
"Ah... well I just wanted to see who was in here," he said. "I was just, uh... probably going to leave..."
Especially if those damn creepy bears didn't stop staring at him.
no subject
"He really is beautiful when he fights." She sighed blushing slightly. "The way he moves so casual, so strong."
no subject
As if just remembering what they were doing the Wild Tiger and Mister Jake fight continued jumping right to the most brutal parts.
"In front of everyone." She sighed blissfully.

That, and he was now actively ignoring the sounds of Jake pounding him senseless, an inch from death on the other side of the arena.
He pressed his lips together. "You miss him, don't you?"

But it went to show that even the most terrible criminals and violent thugs had people who cared about them.
"There must have been some reason," Kotetsu offered her, trying to be helpful. "Maybe there's something only you can do around here. Some reason why it had to be you?"
no subject
"Perhaps it was for revenge." She offered and all the plushies began to slowly move towards Kotetsu drawing out weapons, knifes, pistols, and in one case a trident.
It was the worlds most adorable angry mob.

Kotetsu felt a nasty little shudder go down his back as the bears all turned on him, straightening up as though preparing to defend himself. "Uhhh... no, I don't think revenge is really the answer, in, um... hey could you-- not have them do that, please?"
He was asking very, very nicely.

"You took away my savior, my most important person." Worse yet, between him and his partner they had forced her to crash into him. It was partly her fault!
