Daniel's first elated thought was: I actually got the ball! Then: This would never have happened with Teal'c or Sam. Jack might be former Black Ops, but he was older, and Daniel would never agree about this to his face, the man's knees weren't all that great. Daniel had that over him. But Teal'c was fit and the equivalent of getting bowled over by a truck, while Sam was agile and fast, able to get the ball out of his hand before he realized what hit him.
