Things that we could have just as easily done physically. But if we'd kept doing that, if we'd just gotten used to using magic for every little thing, then one day when we really needed out magic - all of our magic - we would find that we'd have weakened it through years of wasting it. Magic can be used for beautiful, amazing things, but it also needs to be respected."
