During the flight, Atom would have started to hear the tentative sound of Cedric's laughter. He couldn't help but be happy when he was zooming through the air, worries so far below and the wind whipping past him. It was the first time on this whole adventure that he started to feel normal again.

By the time he'd been set down and they were moving past a group of maintenance robots, the smile was all over his face. "Did they do it? It's really very good. Clever. Wizards have never tried anything like this."

He was excited to try something, anything. "Did you want to see the wheel? Or those cars on the track?"
