"Huh. Did the claws have rockets on them so they could launch at other ships and grab them? Because that would be pretty sweet! You're on a freakin' battleship or something and then two giant metal claws shoot out of the water, grab the side of your ship, and then yank it down so the whole damn thing flips."

The physics of that would even work in a Netherworld, or at least with enough mana power behind it.
