Ah, and already there was the annoyed sighing. Debates and discussions about things that may or may not have mattered was his idea of relaxing! If they were calm and rational or angry and biased, it was of no consequence. In fact, the ranges of emotions displayed when someone spoke of something they were passionate about were the best parts!

Oh well. In situations like this it was better to simply be quiet for their sake instead of having them pandering to his (sometimes selfish) wants. Besides, he could always have a round of discussion with Ellistree when she came to visit Fontaine. Then Fontaine could participate, too. Ah, he had such good memories of times like those!

After an absurdly long moment of silence, Nokosi finally spoke up, though he went right back to minding his own business, after. "Of course we're both fine," he said matter-of-factly. That was something that wasn't ever in question in the first place.
