"Look," Rekkti replied. "I think the whole pissing contest is annoying as much as you do, but I also don't want you guys underestimating Yavek and letting one of your people do something stupid. He has more than the ship's security systems to back up his authority."

She points briefly to the leader of the massive reptilian warriors.

"See that guy? That's Force Commander Hukkar, in direct command of the Kessek forces within the 34th battalion. Pleasant guy most of the time, and he doesn't do anything without provocation, but he will follow any order Yavek gives him to the letter, and he is more than capable of carrying them out. Not to speak ill of the dead, but that explosion your guy was killed in after he killed that Firewurm on Lirath? Hukkar survived a similar explosion when he killed the last Firewurm the Ohm tried to deploy. He's strong enough to fight anyone in your crew one-on-one, and with nearly a million Kessek back on the Horizon, they could put down your entire crew if things got out of hand."

She sighed, putting her hands on her hips and shaking her head.

"I don't expect things to get that bad, mind you, but at the same time, I don't want you thinking Yavek's words are just hot air. However, I can keep Yavek mostly off your back. In exchange, though, I need you to keep your people from getting his attention. Keep out of restricted areas, no interfering with any work we have the Ghyyl do, and no attacking any of our personnel. If you can manage that, then I promise you that you won't even notice Yavek's presence, and after we leave you can go back to whatever you were doing with the computer."

"Is that acceptable?"
