"Of course," Tim replied, sobering up somewhat. Even his 'civilian' self couldn't take something like that lightly, though internally he was quietly taking note of just how introspective this girl was-- and how she was analysing things in a way that most people on the ship seemed they never would. He was curious about her, and wondering if she were getting at something in particular or speaking generally. He'd have to get more from her.
