Well, when grouchy flying parrots were concerned, nowhere was really safe. But Zouichi did give Alan a brief word or two of admonishment; he'd have to work with the bird later to make sure this didn't happen again.

He looked up. "Wait, Time Lord?" Zouichi had never heard the term before; about all he knew about the Doctor was that his name was the Doctor and he was very protective of that green, glowy Screwdriver (which did not, actually, appear to be a screwdriver). "I was down on the planet with the Nightmare, trying to make sure the Ohm didn't completely overrun the ground forces. But it sounds like the ship had quite a bit of excitement, too."

For his part, Alan leaned over to the side to deliver his glare from a different angle. You can pretend you're ignoring him, Doctor, but he's still there! Disapproving!
