It all happened fast. Faster than Faiza could quite process. Thankfully, her powers didn't require conscious thought. All she needed was a moment for her brain to realize that there was danger to her patients and possibly to herself for her powers to take over.
A blue aura sprang up around her, spreading out to deal with the immediate threats. The man who had been knocked to the floor was caught in the aura, freezing so that he wasn't further injured. "Please calm down," she said, pitching her voice to carry through the bay. "We are doing our best to get the lights on again but it would help us greatly if you would stay still and on your beds or chairs. We are triaging and everybody will be seen, but our first concern is your safety and the safety of our patients. We will do what we can to deal with all threats."
She could feel that the man's injuries were bad. Unfortunately, there was just too much to do at the moment. "Kaya, can you handle the injuries if I keep him still?"
