That's one down. And now a second was being snagged. Angie does her best to keep track of the others, but a moment of not paying enough attention means that she's suddenly pulled her own red shadow.

Glancing back over her shoulder, Angie grins and bends low over the bike, making a few moves meant to keep the hack's attention on her. The more attention it kept on her, the less likely it would be to go after the others.

Angie peels off, leading the red creature away from the others. Speed was the name of the game, racing the hack and using every trick in the book to stay ahead and a couple that weren't. When you were, in some ways, a giant computer yourself, you learned some workarounds. And working as part of the Authority meant you learned to be a little sneaky for the greater good.

So she plays with the hack for a bit, lets it think it's getting the better of her, then pours on a quick burst of speed. At the same time, she dropped the data scrambler wall, trapping the hack on one side with it, then swinging out ahead of it and racing back toward the group so that it was trapped on the other side as well. And, of course, trapped by the data scrambler wall from her U-turn.

Angie practically feels the impact with the data scrambler, grinning to herself as she heads back to where the others had been. Two down. But she needs to get back in case she's still needed for the fight.
