"I've been up for like, two straight days. My skin's vibrating." He sighs and takes another bite, then pauses and gestures to the remaining fruit. "You want one?"

Given how Howard feels about the food, it's a generous gesture, a motion of gratitude and apology to Tim. It doesn't really occur to Howard that most kids wouldn't have the faintest interest in the old fruit, if they weren't outright repulsed by it.
