The Carousel Boutique [Open]

Rarity stood in the simulation of The Carousel Boutique, recalling the colours and atmosphere of the place. A hologram of Opalescence was sitting on the table, swishing its tail and looking at Rarity.

"Do you think this gem would do, Opalescence?" She levitated a red gem and the cat blinked. "Or this one?" Rarity asked, levitating a blue one. The feline mewed and stretched.

The unicorn smiled and continued to play-work with the pony outfit she was currently pre-occupied with.

Cassie was glad that Rarity wasn't offended by her refusal. She examined the sketches that the pony showed her and smiled. "They're pretty."

Her smile widened, relief evident in her eyes. "That's nice to hear. I'm glad that you have friends with you." Having those that you knew and loved with you could make all the difference when things became more difficult, so it was a relief to know that Rarity was not alone. It would have grieved Cassie to think of the friendly pony without the support of any for whom she cared.

(OOC: I'm completely blanking on a good direction to take this is now. I'm happy to play out anything that you'd like to do or we can just end it/leave it as is. Your choice. I'm sorry for the trouble. And if this is awful, then I can rewrite it. Just let me know. Thank you.)

Cassie nodded and smiled. "Yes, they are." It was a point for which she was very grateful. She still very much missed her parents and others from her world, but having the other Animorphs with her was a great comfort.

Thinking of her friends though caused her to hesitate, realizing that it had already been pretty late even when she left and it was even later now. She hadn't planned to be gone for long, but she'd lost track of time talking to her new friend.

"Speaking of my friends, I should probably get home. It's getting late and I don't want them to worry," she said, her face reflecting disappointment at having to cut their conversation short. "I'm sorry, Rarity. We'll have to talk again soon. I've enjoyed meeting you and thank you for everything." She smiled at Rarity now. It was always nice to make a new friend and she really liked the pony.

(OOC: I hope that's not too pathetic of an excuse.)
