The Carousel Boutique [Open]
Rarity stood in the simulation of The Carousel Boutique, recalling the colours and atmosphere of the place. A hologram of Opalescence was sitting on the table, swishing its tail and looking at Rarity.
"Do you think this gem would do, Opalescence?" She levitated a red gem and the cat blinked. "Or this one?" Rarity asked, levitating a blue one. The feline mewed and stretched.
The unicorn smiled and continued to play-work with the pony outfit she was currently pre-occupied with.

Rarity levitated some of her designs for Cassie to see.

Cassie stared at the outfits. They weren't really to her taste, but then again, her taste was a pair of jeans that may or may not fit and a tee shirt or long sleeved shirt when it got colder out, so... what did she know about fashion? It had never been terribly important to her.
The way that Rarity showed off the clothing though was rather impressive though. Floating clothing was not something that she saw every day... or ever.
"They're pretty from what I can see, but I also don't know very much about this kind of stuff," she admitted with a smile and a shrug. "Do you enjoy making clothing?"

The unicorn smiled at Cassie. "Is there anything I can help you with?"

Rarity's excitement over fashion actually reminded her of Rachel in a way, although Rachel didn't really "live and breath" fashion. Still, she made a note to herself to introduce Rachel and Rarity at some point. She was sure that they'd enjoy speaking.
"Help me with what?" Cassie asked, momentarily confused. "Clothing?" It was the only thing that she could think of given that it had been their last topic of conversation.

"Yes, Applejack and Princess Celestia are dear friends of mine."

Her smile widened, relief evident in her eyes. "That's nice to hear. I'm glad that you have friends with you." Having those that you knew and loved with you could make all the difference when things became more difficult, so it was a relief to know that Rarity was not alone. It would have grieved Cassie to think of the friendly pony without the support of any for whom she cared.
(OOC: I'm completely blanking on a good direction to take this is now. I'm happy to play out anything that you'd like to do or we can just end it/leave it as is. Your choice. I'm sorry for the trouble. And if this is awful, then I can rewrite it. Just let me know. Thank you.)

(OOC: Nono, it's not awful, I was having fun playing as Rarity and interacting with various people while staying in character. I think we can end in 1-2 posts but I'm not sure how to do so.)

Thinking of her friends though caused her to hesitate, realizing that it had already been pretty late even when she left and it was even later now. She hadn't planned to be gone for long, but she'd lost track of time talking to her new friend.
"Speaking of my friends, I should probably get home. It's getting late and I don't want them to worry," she said, her face reflecting disappointment at having to cut their conversation short. "I'm sorry, Rarity. We'll have to talk again soon. I've enjoyed meeting you and thank you for everything." She smiled at Rarity now. It was always nice to make a new friend and she really liked the pony.
(OOC: I hope that's not too pathetic of an excuse.)
