The Carousel Boutique [Open]
Rarity stood in the simulation of The Carousel Boutique, recalling the colours and atmosphere of the place. A hologram of Opalescence was sitting on the table, swishing its tail and looking at Rarity.
"Do you think this gem would do, Opalescence?" She levitated a red gem and the cat blinked. "Or this one?" Rarity asked, levitating a blue one. The feline mewed and stretched.
The unicorn smiled and continued to play-work with the pony outfit she was currently pre-occupied with.

Opalescence walked up to Applejack, happy to see a familiar face and mewed.

"Have you got a dress for yourself in that head of yours?"

"Just like always," Applejack sighed, peeking around the boutique for hints of sketches or fabrics. "So you were planning on going?"
no subject
She flipped through a couple of sketches she had in mind for Applejack. "I would like to make an outfit for you."
no subject
She eyed the sketches one by one, shifting so that Opal could have a peek too. "So long as I have a hat and it won't get in my way, it'll do," she nodded. After the last disaster at the fashion show, she knew better than to make too many suggestions.

She thought back on her memory of that dress. It had worked. "Sure thing, it could've been a lot worse. Like what I picked out," she grinned. "You trying something new for yours?"

"You'll be the belle of the ball, same as always."

"Say, where'd you find lil' Opal?"

(OOC: Are you able to physically touch simulations or would your hand just pass through them?)

...on second thought, Winona's presence is a bad idea. Dogs and cats are never a healthy combination. The pup gives a happy little bark and scampers off after Opal.
"Oh---now you quit it!" Applejack scolded, trying to fix her dog with a glare.
((ooc: They're solid as can be! And actually, if you send the mods an email for permission, you can have the real Opal pop and join Rarity at any time. The characters' pets were saved.))

"Winona's not going to hurt you. Please come down."
((OOC: I don't need to create a LJ account for Opal, right? I do recall the Digimon & Pokemon characters having their "pets" along with them without a separate account for the creatures.))
no subject
"Ah--whoops. Forgot. That'd be why I don't bring her here."
((OOC: Nope! You could make an account if you wanted to have extra icons for her, but it's not necessary. I might just mention Winona here and there.))

"Now now, don't you get all excited. Opal's a friend, not some stray sheep you need to bring along!" Surprisingly, the puppy almost listened. She curled up at Applejack's feet.
"Whew. So now we've got ourselves a truce. Everything going alright 'round here, Rarity, or is there anything I can lend a hoof with?"

She walked forth and gave Winona a little pat on her head, much to Opalescence's displeasure and the cat made a little growl. "Opalescence, that is not nice. Stop it."
The white kitten glared a bit at her owner but settled down quietly on Rarity's back. "What about you, Applejack? Do you need any help?"
no subject
Winona barked happily, doing a little dance to taunt Opal. Oh, pets. Applejack made a clicking noise of disapproval at this, pointedly trying to calm Opal.
"Now now, don't fuss. We'll just get right out of your fur, all right?"
no subject
"That is wonderful news, Applejack. I look forward to eating your apple treats soon!"

Applejack turned to go, definitely smiling. She'd find a way to make everypony happy at the ball. Give them a preview of what they could taste once a little apple orchard was up and running.
