Ah, the survival route. Not too bad a route to go on if Rory wanted to convince the two clones to do anything at all. As it was, the Other Doctor was very keen on living through this if he could. All those memories! Not that being killed by a building falling on him wouldn't (probably) fix the loneliness but he simply wasn't that fatalistic, now or pre-cloning. He wanted to live and, as it sank in, he wanted to see this strange new universe.
Like he said, going along with the kill order was the dull, expected thing. Not quite his style. He exchanged looks with his original, who still had his hands up in the I Surrender position. He'd been good at that too, come to think of it.
He was about to say more when another explosion went off, fire and chunks of masonry jetting into the air.
"Rory I has a point," the Other Doctor said briskly. He made a motion to straighten his bowtie, remembered it was missing, pulled a disappointed face and then dropped his hands. He turned toward Rory and himself. "You show us where the teleporters are and get us off planet. I'd rather not have to go through this all again. Repeats, etc, not a fan of it."
The Doctor started to lower his hands. Not quite the outcome he'd been expecting, but it was better than being shot and he could run with not being shot. Not being shot was good. Better in Rory's case!
