Idleness (Open)

Lately Ben had been kind of restless, and thus had been buzzing around the city. It was way too quiet with everything going on, and as much as he hated being idle, there was really no helping it at times.

He had gotten a RideVendor remote from Philip and had taken out one of the cycles for a spin. A few false starts and he was roaring around the city at a breakneck pace before pulling up to the park. Removing his helmet, he brushed his hair of sweat. "I really like motorcycles," he declared to no one as he got off and began to do a few warm ups.

While training in the sensoriums was always fun, he was often finding himself preferring the city more and more, and he selected an alien from his watch, an old standby favorite.

"CANNONBOLT!" yelled Ben as he began to roll and bounce all over the place.

Hank was still out exploring the city, and was walking towards the park when he heard a rumbling.

"What's that noise?" Hank turns around to see a giant ball hurtling towards him. Hank give a gasp, and pushes the button on his belt just in time to become Giant-Man. He catches the bouncing ball which an "Oof!" and it pushes him back a bit.

Hank inspects the strange sphere in his hands. "It resembles a pill bug..."

"Whoa man sorry about that," said Cannonbolt, still rolled up. "Mind putting me down so I can unfurl?"

"Ah, it talks. Why am I not surprised." Hank sets Cannonbolt down on the ground.

"Seems like every minute I find something new."

Unfurling, Cannonbolt looked p at Hank, arching what would be a forehead crest or eyebrow. "Man you're tall. You have a superpower I take it?"

"Sort of." Hank pushes his belt and shrinks back down to normal. "It's all in the belt. You have some interesting abilities as well."

In a flash of green light, Ben's normal again. Or as normal as he gets anyhow. "Yeah it's all in the watch for me. I'm Ben Tennyson."

"Fascinating. I'm Doctor Hank Pym." Hank says and extends his hand to shake. "So, the watch is able to rapidly cause a metamorphosis, and apparently displace mass. How does it work?"

Ben shook and made a shrugging motion. "I'm not entirely sure, but I got the gist of it. It's linked up to an artificial world called Primus, embedded in my watch via some kind of technology created by the Galvans. From here, this is sort of the remote, and allows me to change my entire biological structure into an alien race."

"I see. One more thing I'll have to study." Hank takes out a little notepad and makes a little note. "What is it called? I've only ever been able to study alien technology a few times. Before now, of course."

"This thing's called the Ultimatrix, and it's the second generation of it's kind. The first, the Omnitrix, was destroyed when Vilgax took it, and I took the Ultimatrix from Albedo since he was y'know, trying to kill me with it."

"It's level 20 Alien Tech, the only kind in existence. Pretty easy to use, and when I was a kid, it had a 10 minute timer to prevent personality creeping."
