After a moment of silence, Mami sighed. It was obvious Homura wasn't going to back down from asking questions... might as well fill her in. The fact that there was no territory to fight for anymore also helped in lowering her hostility, but she wasn't exactly planning on being friendly anytime soon.
"As you may have heard, the home worlds of everyone on board have been destroyed by a race of beings called the 'Ohm', and we've been drafted to fight in the war against them. I'm afraid I can't tell you anything about them; the whole time I've been here, we have yet to run into them at all."
It... bothered her, a little. She was grateful for this second chance at life, but outside of strengthening her friendships with Madoka and Sayaka, it seemed like she was wasting it. But of course, there's that one thing...
