The Doctor looked up over his sonic, almost as if he was mildly surprised Zouichi was still there waiting for his assessment.
"What? Oh! Right, the scan. Interesting stuff," he said, utterly unhelpful. He waved the sonic at Zouichi, still nattering away. "Nanites! Or this planet's verson of them and anyway, it won't be easy getting them out (not worth a good scratch). The brand's a projection, so at a guess, I'd suppose it'll still pop up so long as the nanites are in your system and active."
He thought it might be possible to try removing them manually with the sonic. He wasn't sure. It wasn't as if he'd worked with this planet's technology and it was all rather exciting if you could get past the whole questionable turn of the negotiations and the behavior of the Galileans. Clone labor. Not much for that himself! Anyway, Zouichi had been a well-behaved patient himself by sitting still and not trying to jump into his sonic eye first, which was already much more promising than some of the...individuals he'd encountered in the past.
