You can look, but you can't touch I don't think I like you much

Freedom, what a silly word.

No matter how free she was nothing changed. The constant creeping paranoia, every shadow a potential threat, every blind corner could be hiding an assassin.

But she wouldn't hide. She wouldn't cower! She had been cleaned up, though her hair still hung about her shoulders in untamed tresses of inky black shine.

This ship had to be explored, she had to know as much about it as she could. Knowledge was power and at the moment she felt particularly weak.

After so much time of being locked away, barely moving, not training. Her body had lost it's edge. Her strength and power had waned and she knew it.

Even if she wasn't aware the voices would never let her forget.

And so barefoot and looking lost in more ways then one the pale young girl slipped through the ship quietly watching, learning.

In time her strength would return.

And then the screams of those that had defied her would fill this ship.

Freedom had done wonders for her mood.

((OOC: So since she's just wandering about wherever you'd like to meet her just mention it in your post and we'll roll from there. ^_^ ))

It was inevitable that she would meet up with Azula, but even the enemy who had attacked Zuko could not spoil her good mood. She was currently looking into things to tidy up the W.I.T.C.H. bus, and was whistling pleasantly until she came across a pretty disheveled looking Azula.

To help, or not to help? Kaya sighed.

"You know, there ARE places to go so you don't look so shabby. I would suggest looking for Rein down in the City: she'll at least get you clothes to your liking. And really, you should take a trip to the baths at least: you look haggard."

So much for "Princess Azula" looking the part. She would still be keeping an eye on her though, advice or not.

"Hey, babe."

Sly and with a flirtatious grin on his face, the temporarily-teenage Overlord offered a wave from his lean on the wall leading up to the lift tube.

Azula felt a sharp stab to her pride and she had to bite her lip hard to avoid lashing out with some scathing or cruel counter. Among the cacophony of voices in her head her own small but powerful voice roared at her to not lose this game so early.

So instead with deliberate and carefully spoken words she responded.

"I've only seen a little of the ship since I was released, I don't know where those places are, or who Rein is." Her tone was laced with annoyance, but at least she was making an attempt and being polite? Sort of?

"I was taken to the place where one can be cleansed without use of water. It was...different." And indeed she was clean if only a little unkempt compared to how meticulous she used to look. Not that Kaya would have seen that save for her false memories.

Ah yes...this one.

She approached cautious, her face stern and distrusting despite how Zetta had been nothing but helpful to her. It couldn't be helped. Out in the open like this the paranoia came and went but when it came it became unbearable and she found herself more then once with her back pressed to a wall paralyzed with fear or darting into nooks and crannies to hide form people who may or may not be hallucinations.

"Don't call me that." She finally responded after giving him a fish eye sort of glare.

"Well in that case, I guess I could show you." Kaya felt a little like a traitor here, honestly, as she was sure the rest of the GAang would not have been so accommodating to help Azula. Then again, Azula was from her world, and there was no point in having people on the ship thinking they all looked like crazy people.

"Rein will be in the City," Kaya said, tapping the Omnicomm to show her the map contained within, "right here. And your hair could use a good brushing and combing. I guess I can't shake you of your paranoia with water, but you might need a little of it sometime...oh, and you should probably get yourself some quarters."

She could still barely believe this was happening.

"I have a place to sleep." She responded glancing at the map. Even with her mind fractured and spinning as it felt like it did her memory still felt sharp.

"And what is this place?" She asked looked past Kaya to the WITCH bus. Her expression was neutral but betrayed her fatigue. It seemed that even if she HAD a place to sleep she hadn't made much use of it. Her constant paranoia wouldn't allow her to lower her defenses for long even if she had been assured that Stacy was watching over and protecting her.

"Oh," Kaya said, wondering how that happened in the first place, but she was sure that Zam person who stuck her nose in probably fund it for her.

"That is the W.I.T.C.H. bus," Kaya said. "Matt from council is the primary owner there, he teaches magic and exercise and has a few people who live there that help him out. I'm staying there too, to watch over Negi and help out Matt. He's...kind of my boyfriend."

She tried to look nonchalant as she said this. "Anyway, there are a few other places on the map too, if you're curious."

"Well, even if I don't call you one, you still are one," he said, not at all bothered by her attitude. "You look a little spacey, still. How're you getting by out here?"

"Wow, you look like shit! Have you been regressing like the others too?" A slightly younger Lash peered at Azula from a short distance away, arms crossed, watching. She hadn't no idea who this person was, the information about Azula being only read and talkd about, and never having met her face to face.

"You might want to get yourself some shoes! Unless you like getting cut feet, tee hee!"

"What kind of magic?" She probed further dismissing the mention of other locations. It seemed to her that learning about this place while she stood here would be more important. She turned her gaze onto Kaya watching her intently as well. Studying her.

A waterbender who's experience with the war is more influenced by life after it. A waterbender who doesn't know to properly fear the fire nation. But how strong is her bond to the Avatar and his friends? She doesn't live with them after all...

There was a sensation that was becoming more and more familiar and uncomfortable to her of her dignity being ground away by these people who didn't respect her, or have any reason to really.

"I am...educating myself." She explained examining the lift tube. While Zam had shown her how to use it she still didn't understand how it worked. There was so much about this ship that was decades beyond the technology of the Firenation which was the most advanced in her world.

Azula bit her lip sharply to avoid lashing out verbally at the crude little girl. There was a time she would have been completely in her right to banish his one, her family and anyone she was associated with from the nation.

"I don't know where to get any shoes." She grumbled managing to force those words out with only a handful of venom. It was one thing to be pitied and not feared while she was in a cage...but out in public it was almost more then she could bare.

"Elemental magic, as far as I know," Kaya said, not wanting to give up too much information about her boyfriend and what he was able to do. With Azula, she knew that it helped to be as paranoid as she was right now: she knew she was assessing her.

"What is it?" She asked, noticing the look on her face.

"How did the two of you meet?" She questioned further turning her gaze back to the bus letting her eyes roam and slide out of focus once again.

Pfft; if Zetta was really intent on not respecting her, he wouldn't be bothering to talk to her. Besides, 'babe' was a compliment in his mind.

"They put a lot of info on the omnicomm, if you know how to get it," he offered. "Other than that, if you want a guide...?"

"I knew his girlfriend first," Kaya explained, "and he was pod popped soon after. I saw them together, and they were a really good match. But I think I first really saw him one day, when he was playing guitar. He was so..."

She stopped herself, shaking her head. "Well, yes, he's a part of the council now, and he'll want to know about how you're being treated on the ship. Any problems, seek him out."

Why was she just about to tell her about meeting Matt?!

Zam had mentioned that about the omnicomm, but Azula was finding it was more useful to her to be able to see the things it spoke of herself. This was a strange new world she found herself in.

"Any help you'd like to offer is appreciated." though she hated having to ask for help she knew that using others to learn was a much more respectable way to think about it.

"I'd enjoy showing you around," he said with a grin. "Got any opinions on cars? Or if not them, got any opinions on going incredibly fast in powered conveyance?"

A brief memory of a handsome young boy she had met on vacation, he was small minded and pathetic.

"So you stole him from his first girlfriend?" Azula inquired, not accusing just curious, "If she couldn't hold onto him then she didn't deserve him." Spoils of war. Simple as that.

She raised a suspicious eyebrow. A powered conveyance was something she knew of. The Fire Nation had been very industrial minded.

"I'd prefer to walk." It was safer that way. She wouldn't have to completely trust this nightmare of a life in the hands of someone she was only half sure actually existed.

Good grief, that sounded wrong and almost a little right.

"No, she was podded. I don't quite now how to explain the process, but the blunt truth is that anyone who was brought here can also be put back into a pod if their soul needs to be saved or something. I've been here two years, so I have seen it happen before. For a short time, Zuko and Sokka and Aang were also podded."

Lashing out on Lash was a terrible idea in any case.

"I think they can easily be found here and there," the wunderkind answers mysteriously. "Know what your shoe size is? We can maybe go look around in the city and steal a pair from someone or something. Or you could use your suit. You're wearing yours right?"

Lash you were so kind and being helpful in your own way. If the left the shoes so easy lying around it was there for picking anyway, right?

For a brief moment fear pulsed in Azula. So her freedom was not only in the hands of the fools running this ship but at random the ship itself could simply tuck her away like a forgotten nightmare.

How utterly cruel.

Still she retained her composure and began to pace along the length of the bus. "I see, so once this girl was out of the picture he must have been distraught. Perfect for you to step forward and provide comfort for him. And with no one to stand in your way it was so much easier?"

Pity! She was missing out... well, no sense pushing her. She'd come around, or not, in time. He pushed himself away from the wall with a smile.

"Anywhere you'd like to get started?"

"Scrounging for shoes like a peasant." Azula lamented looking at her own feet in dismay. Once she had a collection of the finest shoes in the fire nation. Comfortable shoes, functional shoes, every color and style she could have desired.

"How would I...use this?" She asked indicating her plantsuit which was the only thing she was wearing at the moment.
