Still trying to regain his focus, Zedd brought his staff up again to block the next strike. To his shock and horror, the staff broke and, to Signum's surprise, it transformed back into a large snake.

"My staff... you broke my staff!" Zedd roared. Tossing the snake aside, he went into a fighting pose. "I've had enough of you! You're going to regret encountering me!" With that, he raced forward, intending on taking on the pink-haired woman with his own two hands.
