Cagalli hadn't really taken much of an interest in the DDT so far. It's not that she had any real problems with it, on principle. She'd had alcohol before, after all, and it was an inescapable part of human history. In this case, it's more a matter of being a bit... unsure of her brother's reaction, Athrun's and Lacus' reaction, and not being very sure of her own limits.

She couldn't hold out forever though. A freaky lunatic with a skeleton on the outside of a giant pile of red stuff had just popped, and that was excuse enough.

Despite resolving herself to not give a crap, though, she seemed a bit unsure when she took a seat in the Tavern, alone in a place like that.
