She nodded and stood besides him. Once she noticed however, that he was tense, and possibly going to make it more painful than it should have been, she bent a bit lower to be at eye level and raised her goggles. She gently turned his face away from the needle and towards her own. Nose to nose, she had a warm, gentle smile on her lips and her bright teal eyes focused on him as she spoke sweetly and calmly.

"It's alright hun, I'm right here okay? I promised you I'd protect you jus' like you would me. You have nothing to worry about." She kissed his nose sweetly, just as the shot was going in. Hoping to ease his tension before the action happened.
