Billy immediately looked worried. She wasn't going to draw blood from her finger, was she? And why was she reacting so strangely? "I don't believe it would be," he answered, though he didn't sound entirely sure. "We have a high level of technology, and to force permanent sterilization if one chooses to copulate is cruel even by Stacy's standards," he mumbled, face red enough for the embarrassment to be visible in the dark. "I'll confirm it before making my final decision."
