And I will smite my enemiiiiieeeeees! [Closed]

At last, progress on one front; the wizard had finally arranged for that sword-forging that he'd promised Ronnae what seemed like lifetimes ago.

He'd gone to the usual efforts of tidying up the place: cleaning out the area around the teleport circle, scrubbing free the caked-on layers of ash and grit from many an explosion, and laboriously fumigated the last lingering hints of beer-waterfall out of the cracks of his furniture. Now, having called the orc girl, he simply folded his forelegs in front of him and lounged on a rug near his comfortable furniture, reading from a book that floated in midair.

(No. He hadn't bothered to dispel the magic that had him in a draconic form at the moment. Why should he?)

"I will craft this sword for five of your largest bags," Daja said. Her asking price was significantly less than she would normally start with for a - but Ronnae's situation had captured her sympathy, and so Daja was willing to go easy on the pair when it came to bargaining.

[[Aaaaah let me know if Daja is way off in terms of price here. I'm not really sure how much these would cost in D&D canon, so I'm kinda just guessing, sob]]

Re: They all had links in the SRD page, silly.

Ronnae couldn't help but feel overwhelmed that people were going out of their way for her. She bowed as low as she could, keeping her head down. "I thank you greatly. You do not have to do this for me, but still you both give your time and resources to help. I don't know how to repay you but I promise I will be there if either of you ever need anything at all." She was confused yes, aside from her family, anyone who offered 'help' back home was always out to use her. However this time it felt different, and it felt genuine. She didn't know how to react.

Except I didn't keep that link, orz

Daja blinked in mild surprise - they did not wish to haggle? In her world, only fools paid the first price.

But perhaps the bags were less expensive that she had estimated. Even so, they would be nonetheless be invaluable to her. "Then we have a deal. And you owe me no debt, Ronnae. The price has already been set, and there will be no further obligations. The only thing I will need is assistance in taking measurements of your weapon."

Her face reddened at the kind words from both, specially Abi's mention of being friends. She stood straight once more with an embarrassed expression. "I.... y-yeah we are. I'm... jus' not used to this is all." She rubbed her arms protectively. "I'll a-assist any way I am needed to."

Pft, that's too complicated

"You will assist all of us, by using your skills with a blade," Daja said. "I can fight, but I am not a warrior. It is warriors like you who wil defend us from the Ohm."

'Th-thank you both so much. I promise I will honor this act and fight fiercely with every ounce of my body to protect everyone." She blushed slightly and smiled.

"And I will ensure that the weapon you fight with is of the highest quality," Daja said, bowing. "It has been a pleasure doing business with you."

She smiled at both, "It was a very nice meeting, most definitely. And I'm very glad I got to meet you miss Daja." She turned to her friend, "And it's always nice spending time with you Abi." She smiled cheerily.
