"There's always a reason," Buffy states. "Usually, it's not a good one." She shrugs in a matter-of-fact manner. "I was just released a couple of hours ago. Or minutes." Buffy shakes her head. "I'm bad enough with time without having to be able to guess how much of it has passed." She listens to Jamie's explanation, still confused. "Does the marriage actually last?" Pause. "Did you marry anyone?"
