There really are times that Jamie should think before opening his mouth, and this is one of those times. This time, his expression is rather less actually cranky and rather more kicking-himself-for-opening-his-mouth cranky. Given time, his face might almost go back to normal here.

For a moment, it's much softer than it was before - but then it's gone again as he continues. "The Doctor's right. The more people that can get through this, the better chance we have of getting this artifact thing."
