After her much needed Girls Day out with new friend Reimi and Nura, Katara was pretty pleased. She was walking toward the City, practically sprinting. By now the possessed were taken care of and she was headed straight toward the City when she spied Beastboy scurrying about.

"Heya Beastboy!" She said, giving him a hug. "How are you?"

Beastboy did indeed scurry as he was some sort of small furry rodent, scampering up and shifting back with a warm smile at Katara "Hey! Doin' better then I was I guess?" He rubbed the back of his head and laughed weakly, "I gotta find Star though. Have you seen her flying around?"

"Doing better than you were?" That sounded a little telling, and she couldn't help laughing when he morphed back. "No, I haven't seen Starfire yet, I just got back from the baths. Why? Did you need to talk with her about something?"

Beastboy groaned, "I guess she didn't tell anyone...guess that's a good thing." He sighed and flopped onto a bench, "So like...something made me go all crazy and stuff and I turned into this beast thing and attacked her. The doc told me I was possessed by some evil soul junk." He flopped again throwing his head back and scanning the skies, "I don't remember it all clearly, just blurry stuff, me smashing into her, saying some really mean stuff. I gotta apologize."

Katara took his hand. "I know what you're talking about. It was Daimon's dark soul that started possessing people, actually. I actually came face to face with someone that was taken by the spirit, a friend of mine. She said some pretty harsh things, but I was able to hold her back and help arrived. You weren't yourself Beastboy, just apologize. She knows what you're like, she won't hate you, OK? I'm sorry it happened to you though."

She didn't bother mentioning how much trouble she got for holding that person back. That would be something she'd have to deal with later.

Beastboy blinked and his cheeks pinked "Sheesh really?" That stupid thing must have gotten around." He muttered "So like...it's gone now right? We don't have to worry about it happening again?" He asked hopefully.

"It did," Katara said, "So try not to feel too horrible. That demony thing took random things about what the host knew and used it to hurt people who were close to them. As far as I know, we should be OK now: Daimon should have it under control."

But if he looked, Beastboy could see that Katara had a pretty hurt look about certain things that had been said to her.

"That's a relief." He looked at his gloved hand pensively. "The Beast was nothing new to me though. It was unleashed some time ago by chemicals, I think I mutated or something. Now I always feel it right here." he tapped himself in the chest, "That's the first time it was out of my control though."

Shifting his seat on the bench he patted the seat next to him inviting her to sit. "What about you? Who'd it possess that you knew?"

"I'm sorry that had to happen then," Katara said. "But even if that;s the case, just find Starfire and let her know what's going on. I think she'll understand and be happy to welcome her old friend back again. I see that a lot in her."

She was quiet a moment. "It was my friend Eva, the mother of someone I knew named Marco. we've talked every once and awhile about war and things. She used to be controlled by those alien Yeerk things, and when I saw she was possessed, I meant to stop that thing before it made her do anything bad. But...I froze her for a little bit, and her son was really angry with me. Still is, actually. We got along before then, honestly but not now. And what she said, with the possession, it was something I know has some parts in the truth."

Starfire had finally been patched up. She'd claim to feel 'good as new', as people usually phrased it, but Beast Boy's pain was still on her mind. She hadn't been able to cope with it since they'd been separated after the battle.

Naturally, the first thing she did upon being cleared to leave medbay was seek out a flash of green fur anywhere. When she spotted one, she flew closer and called out to it.

"Beast Boy?"

Beastboy took it all in with a look of surprised recognition on his face, "Oh Dude I know that Marco guy...he's kind of a jerk." He blurted out before his eyes snapped wide "I-I mean I'm sure he's an OK guy really a-and his mom is probably a really classy lady." A pretty horrible attempt at backing up himself.

"So like, you didn't hurt her but he just got like, super protective right? Because she's his mom and she's been through alot?"

Beastboy's head snapped up when he heard her, he'd been dashing along the hall as a dog and as he was distracted by Starfire's voice finally popping out he didn't watch where he was running.

WHAM! Right into a wall.

Dazed he shifted back and stumbled over to her "Sssstar!" He greated her with a lopsided grin, crossed eyes and what may or may not have been stars spinning round his head.

"Beastboy!"

Immediately concerned for him, Starfire planted herself firmly on the ground and caught his arms. Her eyes were wide, face motherly. As usual when her friends were hurt.

"Do you need to visit the medical bay again?"

Beastboy shook his head so hard she could hear his ears flapping and coughed a couple times, "No no, I'm good just a little ahem, tired." He grinned weakly looking her up and down with a critical eye, "But what about you? I didn't hurt you right? I am SO sorry! I mean it should go without saying right? We're best friends and all that and I never would hurt you willinglybutitjustkindoftookovertheevilsoulthingandI'msosorryI'dneverhavesaidthosethingsnoneofthemweretrueandIdon'tevenremembersomeofit!" He was talking so fast his words blurred together as he eagerly got all these concerns off his chest.

Well, the fast talking was a good sign. He was still Beastboy. Unfortunately, it also made him difficult to understand. As gently as she could, she squeezed his shoulder.

"You are forgiven, but I cannot know exactly what to forgive if you speak so quickly."

Katara sighed. "Marco is..very difficult sometimes, but I know that he and his mother have been through a lot, especially when it came to the Yeerks. His mom is a really amazing lady, I've talked with her quite a few times. We don't agree on everything, but I respect her, an I wouldn't let some Darksoul make her do things. It just wasn't right."

She nodded. "He was upset I restrained her and froze her. He thought, when he caught up with us, that I was hurting her and laughing about it. That...actually kind of hurt, to be honest."

One would think that Beastboy with his manic energy and sometimes slow to catch deductive reasoning skills wouldn't be a very good listener but he was intent on Katara's words "Sounds like you've had some experince with the whole control issue uh...issue."

It wasn't unusual, at least where he came from. Superhero forums and chat rooms were always comparing experiences with other super criminals and how things were handled...and more often then not Beastboy had information to gain from his comic books on such matters.

However at the idea that Katara would be laughing at someone's pain he scoffed and looked defensive, "Well that's because Marco the paranoid mood killer doesn't know you at all obviously. I mean I get it. Mom's are special. If someone went after Elasti-girl..." He stopped himself and got back on topic, "...anyway. Anyone who spends even an hour with you can tell you're about one of the kindest most compassionate people on this space traveling loony bin."

Beastboy's eyes blinked a couple of times and he let out a gasp of air that took his pale green back to a more healthy color, "I was saying...sorry for all that junk." And then he hugged her tight, "You're the only Titan I've got from home right now and if I got you hurt bad...well I don't think Robin and the others would get a chance to kick my butt you know? I'd be too busy kicking it myself." He laughed embarrassed. Joking yes but it was heavy with truth.

"Well, I sort of have this ability, Beastboy. You know how I'm able to control water and everything? Well, we waterbenders get our power from the moon, its like our main source and everything. When there's a full moon, I have the ability to control actual people, because when you think about it, human beings are mostly water anyway. I don't do it if I can help it of course, but I was forced to learn this ability. The idea of making someone do things against your will, it bothers me, a lot. Eva was controlled like that for years by an alien parasite."

She shook her head. "I can understand why Marco would freak out, but I didn't do it for him. That demony thing was playing on Eva's most negative feelings and using it to make her try and kill the Yeerks on the ship. I couldn't let that happen, have her do something she didn't want."

She laughed a little here, but kindly. "Thank you Beastboy. I try to do what I can. Someone might say I could have handled this better, but I did what I had to. I'm just not used to someone looking at me with anger in their eyes, I guess."

Ronnae was walking casually around the ship, still exploring it and maybe see if there were any buildings from her home. The young half-orcess was feeling a bit down recently having met a couple of Azerothians and yet most of them didn't seem all too friendly. She sighed and pulled her hoodie'g hood up, making her long twin ponytails drape over her chest. She put her hands into the hoodie's pockets before continuing on.

Beastboy smiled warmly and put an arm around her for a hug, "Robin used to say that we weren't heroes for validation. We did what was right because it was right, not because it would make people happy or make them like us. No matter what Marco said or what he thinks, you did what was right. His mom was safe, and safe from hurting anybody. Safe from doing something she'd regret later."

Oh hey look Ronnae! It's a Green monkey swinging along from a phone line chittering away to himself cheerfully! How cute right?

Ronnae stops for a moment looking up at the odd sight. She can't help but laugh a little as she approaches the monkey.

"Hey little guy, I thought you guys where supposed to all stay at Hydroponics or whatever that place is called." She smiled looking up at him.

Katara smiled at that. "You know, its what I would say to people that kept calling me a hero. I never went out of way to get that title, or have any kind of attachment to being called that: I was just trying to do what was right, what seemed fair. To me, that demon possessing thing is just another thing in a long line of misfortunes and enemies the ship gives us to fight off besides the Ohm."

Which reminded her. "Beastboy, we have to get the Outsiders together, tonight. I know that we haven't really been able to hold a concrete meeting because of all the things that went down, but if there was ever a time to do it, its now. We should get the place spruced up: you must have seen Static Shock already, right?"

"Dude totally." He gave a thumbs up, "Static was awesome, I ran into him like a week or two ago. Is this gonna just be like...socializing or do we wanna do training or a game or something?"
