He stared blankly at the hand for a full second before returning the shake. Some day, he was going to make the gesture come naturally again. Some day he wouldn't have to pause and figure out what it meant.

"Yeah, I've tried too. Looking for my parents and the rest of my family." He smiled a bit wistfully. "Nice to meet you, Kendra. Maybe they'll show up. I mean, everyone's here, they should wake up eventually."
