There was nothing more to do. She wasn't going to change. Julian wasn't going to change. And trying things out as just friends or even acquaintances was clearly harder than she thought it was going to be.

"It was uh... nice to talk to you." She had to fight back any further urges to kiss him, even on the cheek because that would clearly just send the wrong signal.

"I'll see you later." She said before turning and flying away.
