"It's part of our training," she explains. "As telepaths, we're bound to see some pretty terrifying things. So, we're taught how to sort of 'file' them away in our memories and block off our minds access to it. Basically, we bury somewhere to keep it from just coming up whenever it wants. It's not easy and it doesn't always work, but it helps."
