Luckily, Sam was fairly nearby when Tom messaged him. He sent a message of his own to Dean while he was walking, trying to work things out for himself as to what might have happened to Iniss. It didn't make any sense. Schmuz agreed on that. He had no idea what could have caused it.
Priorities. Tom first. Then they could turn their attention to Iniss. He just had to trust that whoever had taken the Yeerk wasn't more interested in seeing him dead.
Of course, if they were, the chances were good that Iniss was already dead and the priorities didn't change a damned bit.

Wasn't sure he'd met the older woman, though there was something a little familiar about her, too. "Tom?" he called, walking over with a nod to the women.
