Meet N' Greet

Part of the crew might be gone, but life on the ship goes on. In fact, new people have woken up and, eventually, they've been spat out into the mess hall.

Maybe it's better to introduce them to some of the worst aspects of ship life first, right?

Anyway, the word is out that there's new people, and someone should probably go say hello. Before the n00bs mistake the glop for crew.

Borg rolled his eyes and flicked a ropy tongue at Gambit while Yuri was distracted with the game. Like he was going to reveal the Drill Clan's secrets to this smooth talker, no matter how much Yuri liked him. He was her symbiotic partner. He felt Yuri's desperate want for love and caring. In his own way, he protected his host.

"It just...just...it's not f-f-fair..." Tears seemed to well up in Yuri's eyes, trembling at the edges until...Slap!

Remy smirks as the girl gets another pile. "You sure you never played dis, petite?" he asked, still grinning as he laid down his next card. "At dis rate you gonna have Gambit beat in quinze minutes."

Yuri shook her head. "This is my first time." She said, waiting for her next opportunity. Pretty soon they were neck and neck for the championship. She giggled behind her hand.
Of course, the idea that Gambit might be going easy on her didn't occur to her...mainly because she didn't understand the idea of going easy on kids.
