Meet N' Greet

Part of the crew might be gone, but life on the ship goes on. In fact, new people have woken up and, eventually, they've been spat out into the mess hall.

Maybe it's better to introduce them to some of the worst aspects of ship life first, right?

Anyway, the word is out that there's new people, and someone should probably go say hello. Before the n00bs mistake the glop for crew.

Nathan then blinked, and stared at him. Really staring. Oh hell, is this some time space thing like Hiro goes on and on about?


".............You're kidding."

Beat.

"Wait, what? Why would I be kidding?"

What is it with people today?

Nathan then sighed and facepalmed, "I don't know if I can explain it. He's probably around here somewhere anyway."

He just hoped this didn't mean a younger version of *him* was going to show up in here someday.

"What? Seriously, buddy, today is not the day I wanna get the whole vague, 'I'm gonna mention something but not explain it' thing. It's really annoying."

"It involves time travel for one, or the fact people are coming here from different times and worlds. Heard a few are from alternate ones."

And time travel's already something of a headache in his world, just from listening to Hiro at times.

"Time travel. Of course it had to be time travel."

He takes a heavy sigh. "Lemme guess. There's another me running around here, isn't there? Something like that?"

Sympathetic look, "Had some experience with it already huh? Yeah, got it in one."
