Rage From Above [ very open! ]

Birds of prey are birds that hunt for food primarily on the wing, and as a result, these creatures have evolved sharp eyesight to compensate for the unusual distance maintained between predator and prey. Komali was no different— and though the infection raged through his body, his eyesight remained clear.

He was hunting.

He didn't need anyone to take care of him. He didn't need to be alone. In fact, he felt...good. Very good. Who needs them?

Nobody.

That thought didn't feel as good, and the uneasiness upset him. It made him angry. If nobody needs them, then...why should they be here? Why should they be allowed to stay?! No. No, how dare they!

A movement, down below! The bird-child homed in on it like a beacon, folding in his wings and diving for the kill. He didn't need a mother! He was a hunter! The impact, when it came, only brought that edge of anger into sharper focus. He didn't just want to move and jump and fly, he wanted to rip and tear with teeth and beak and talons.

Everything was itchy, and he needed to give vent to the rabid, ceaseless urge to hurt.

He wasn't the only bird of prey on the hunt though.

Tobias's feelings would be a mirror of the bird-boy's, if he could read minds. He dove downward at the same time, putting him on a likely collision course with the weird looking bird-kid.

Now was the time for a lot of maneuvering. Tobias couldn't beat this thing in a one on one fight, so he had to stay out of reach of the claws, for sure. He just hoped he was fast enough as he tried to dodge.

< Bring it on! > came the reply. Tobias, too, felt frenzied, energeized as he focused on outmaneuvering the larger creature.

The trouble, of course, was that Tobias, in his own frenzy, was small, fast and hard to catch. He screamed back as he tried to dodge the larger form streaking toward him.
