She shake her head, still looking out--still looking a the backdrop of stars behind the planet and it's own nearby star.

"I could see this every day. It feels like...a dead end where I'm from."

It is a dead end. There is no home for her to go back to. Just cold fog, blood and rot, and fire. Even if they could get home, would she just be put back where and when she'd been, in the grasp of Silent Hill?

Cybil tries not to think about it. The crew has to be protected. They have to be returned to their homes, and it will be done. If that means she has to get sent home too, well...

She'll try to burn that bridge down cross that bridge when she comes to it.

Instead of anything maudlin, there's a slight, cavalier grin. "I'm starting to wonder if I was born a few centuries too early, a few universes too far away, if there are ones out there where this could've been an everyday thing."
