The Prince apparently didn't notice that his path had changed courses, right up until he felt the katamari almost fall off of something. Then he noticed that he was up in the air and standing on someone's hands.

Yikes! He dragged the katamari to a stop, then shyly peered out from behind it to see who had captured him.
