And the earth moved. (http://s1.zetaboards.com/MenWithoutWorlds/topic/2362329/3/)
Verbena had changed much for the worse in Gwen's own personal opinion. She was infested with Alliance 'trying to make a difference' my changing the face of the world she had grown up in. More outsiders out numbered actual residents, a good chunk of her population having been killed as soldiers during the War or culled when the Alliance took the planet. They still fought though in as many ways as they could. Her mind was still reeling from the force of the blast that had knocked her off her feet, debris from the factory raining down upon those gathered for the fair like someone shooting fish in a barrel. It was a pity something hadn't managed to kill her brother in the process.
The red head barely registered the fact she was falling even after she hit the ground. It had to be from the blast right? Personally it was the only way the idea of anything else could register in her mind. Groaning Gwen pushed herself over on to her side expecting something to be aching more than usual. When nothing hurt, no sensations of being tossed about like a rag doll, she carefully opened one green eye than the other. The air was humid and what she had thought was blood was some sort of slime like a giant had sneezed all over her. Not to mention she was naked- but that didn't bother the woman as much as it should have. Living on a ship with ten plus people made you sort of lose that innocence. "Yòng yi ge liàn jù zhăn de cào wŏ," she muttered grinding the balls of her hands against her eyes, "Drew? Fi? What the gorram frak is going on?"
