This...was not how Elfangor imagined the world after death. He certainly didn't imagine the goo. Or the pods. Or the big cavern the pods and goo were in.

However, if he wasn't dead, then how did he live THIS time? He's been inches from those teeth, trying to keep the attention on him so those humans, and his son, could escape.

Then again, sometimes his life really HAD no sense to it, especially in how he could manage to live through his near death experiences. So, if he was alive...where was he?
